What is PracticeSafe?

PracticeSafe is an online workplace safety training and induction platform. We provide comprehensive safety training courses including fire safety, workplace inductions, WHS/OHS compliance training, and more. Upon successful completion, you receive industry-recognized certificates valid for 12 months.

How long are certificates valid?

All certificates issued by PracticeSafe are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. This is the industry standard for workplace safety certifications.

We'll send you reminder emails 30 and 7 days before your certificate expires so you can renew on time by retaking the course.

Can employers verify my certificate?

Yes! Every certificate includes a unique validation code and QR code. Employers can verify your certificate authenticity by:

  • Scanning the QR code on your certificate
  • Visiting our public verification page and entering the validation code
  • Viewing the certificate details including issue date, expiry date, and module completed

How much does it cost?

Certificates cost $70 AUD per module. This includes:

  • Full access to the training video
  • Unlimited test attempts (until you pass)
  • Official digital certificate upon passing
  • Certificate verification service for 12 months
  • Email reminders before expiry

Bulk vouchers are also available for organizations wanting to train multiple staff members.

When do I need to pay?

You can complete the training and pass the test before paying. Payment is only required when you want to download your certificate.

This allows you to:

  • Watch the training videos for free
  • Take practice tests
  • Pass the assessment first
  • Then pay only when ready to get your official certificate

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment gateway (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). All payments are processed securely and we never store your card details.

Can I retake the test if I fail?

Yes! You can retake the test as many times as needed until you pass. There are no additional fees for retaking tests.

We recommend reviewing the training video again before retaking to improve your score.

What's the passing score?

The passing score varies by module but is typically 80% or higher. The exact passing score for each module is displayed before you start the test.

How long does the training take?

Most courses take 20-40 minutes to complete, including:

  • Watching the training video (10-25 minutes)
  • Completing the assessment (10-15 minutes)

You can pause and resume at any time - your progress is automatically saved.

I didn't receive my verification email

If you haven't received your verification email after registering:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder - our emails sometimes end up there
  2. Wait a few minutes - emails can take up to 5 minutes to arrive
  3. Try logging in - if you get an error about email verification, you can click "Resend verification email"
  4. Contact us at support@practicesafe.com.au if still having issues

Can I access courses on mobile/tablet?

Yes! PracticeSafe is fully responsive and works on all devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. We recommend using a tablet or larger screen for the best video viewing experience.

Do you offer bulk training for organizations?

Yes! We offer training vouchers that organizations can purchase in bulk and distribute to their staff. Benefits include:

  • Purchase multiple vouchers at once
  • Assign vouchers to specific staff members
  • Track completion status from admin dashboard
  • Download all staff certificates in one place

What's your refund policy?

We offer refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a refund if:

  • There's a technical issue preventing course access
  • The service is not as described
